- Premetto che sono passato da gopro hero 4 session a questa action cam, quindi ho un termine di paragone abbastanza serio. Qualcuno direbbe, ma perchè passare da gopro a xiaomi yi? Presto detto! Inizialmente cercavo un prodotto poco ingombrante e leggero con un'infinità di accessori che si adattino alle mie esigenze, quindi la scelta cadde sulla nuova gopro hero 4 session. Però nell'ultilizzo mi sono accorto di una grave mancanza...cioè la batteria di poca durata e non intercambiabile. Infatti spesso mi ritrovavo a secco con la batteria non potendo proseguire con le mie riprese e quindi perdendo i migliori momenti delle mie giornate sportive o vacanziere. Quindi escludendo altri modelli di gopro dal prezzo spropositato, ho curiosato in rete e sono giunto alla a questa Xiomi Yi camera. Visto il prezzo molto vantaggioso e le più che positive esperienze di altri utenti, mi sono deciso ad acquistarla. Ragazzi...dico davvero...questa action cam non ha nulla da invidiare alle più balsonate gopro! Qualità dei video pressochè identiche, anzi in alcuni casi anche migliori, finalmente la possibilità di poter sostituire le batterie e quindi proseguire per altre ore le mie registrazioni. la qualità delle foto nettamente superiore avendo un sensore da 16mpx contro gli 8mpx della hero session. Peso identico alla gopro session e quindi leggerissimo, accessori gopro compatibili con xiaomi. Facilità di utilizzo e ottima app per smartphone. Ho anche acquistato numerosi accessori originali che ho gia recensito, che costano 1/3 di quelli gopro e che sono qualitativamente perfetti e pretici. insomma non ho trovato un difetto a questa meravigliosa videocamera. Da segnalare che ho ricevuto la versione Z23L che a quanto pare è l'ultima versione prodotta e priva di difetti che hanno riscontrato altre versioni. Nella confezione d'acquisto è presente la videocamera, la batteria e un cavetto USB per la ricarica ed infine un manuale rapido di utilizzo. Prodotto super consigliato!!!

ESPAÑOL - Podría tener un poquito mejor calidad de construcción, pero por el precio, es muy competitivo. - El manual viene solo en Chino, podría venir en Ingles y Español también - El software podría permitir opciones con mayor taza de bits. - La batería podría ser de mas amperaje. - Podrían haber versiones con accesorios como la carcaza de agua y algunos soportes incluidos. - La tapa trasera de las conexiones no esta sujeta a nada, es fácil que se pierda.

- Paired with the android app, it's awesome. I just can't spend the money for an overpriced Gopro, when I can get this for a fraction of the price. The MP4 video files can be imported directly into the free GoPro studio. Big Pros: this camera has a tripod screwhole on the bottom. the video is 1080p 60 Frames per second. HUGE The time lapse mode has so many intervals. I love this little camera, and at this price, I won't get salty if it breaks. UPDATE: Since purchasing there have been 3 firmware updates addressing requests from users. Which is great Also an iphone app came out. You can 2 or 3 of these for the price of one GoPro. And 4k recording? really? The file sizes get sooo big, rendering takes forever. 1080p 60 FPS is really all I need. Update 09-20-2015 2k Recording now with the latest firmware update. If you want a company that listens to its users and keeps on adding features! This is the camera to go with. Compatible with so many go pro mounts with the underwater case. as well as the threaded tripod mount in the case. And who doesn't have an iphone or android? Well 3% of the population. I am sure they will come up with a windows phone app soon. In any case, I love this camera. i use it all the time. And if it breaks.. 80 bucks or so to replace? winner everytime! Did I mention you can use the GoPro studio for free?

- The quality of the image produced makes this a great option over the GoPro especially for the price. The quality is way better than the SJ4000 which is at a similar or more expensive price point to this camera. The camera is operated via the app which is required to change settings as the camera can only start/stop recordings, turn wifi on/off and change modes. Some cameras including mine needed to be refocused to sort out the image sharpness but that is simple and easy to do very quickly. The sharpness of images is amazing and lots of detail is retained which is helped along by the 16mp sensor in the camera. There is a Xiaomi Yi camera hack which can be performed to give the camera functionality to record at higher bitrates and increased resolution (2K) which makes the image look great and a lot better overall. To find this look up 'autoexec.ash xiaomi yi'. The modification is quick and easy to perform and it also gives you greatly improved image quality. There is no waterproof case included with this camera but it can be purchased at a low price. All the great features along with the low price makes this a brilliant purchase for any camera enthusiast which is wanting to add another camera to their collection or for people looking to purchase a great high quality camera.

- This was my first purchase from Bang good because of all the hype of this little camera. I purchased the white one because I liked how clean it looked. I got the package fast and everything was in a nice factory box. I charged up the battery, popped in a micro SD card (one is not included so make sure you buy one/.have one for your camera) and quickly went to town videoing the mundane things one videos when they first get an action camera. It wasn't until later that I updated the firmware and unlocked additional options. There's been another update since then which adds 2k video. After playing around with my camera for a bit I thought I got lucky with the focus issue until I saw a comparison video on Youtube. I found that while my camera was very clear, it could still look sharper. So after 30 minutes of research and watching Youtube videos, I cracked open the Yi case and fixed the focus issue. I'm extremely pleased with this camera and will likely buy 1 or 2 more for drone projects or to mount on cars!

- i needed a low budget action camera and i found that beautiful stuff.Xiaomi really has a great made camera.I bought it for underwater,travelling,trekking,driving,biking and for many things.I am an advertising student,so i can make my short movies and advertisements with that.That little stuff can make your moments better and unforgettable.It was a great package and came safely to Turkey.Shipping was fast but it waited like a week in turkish customs.It comes with latest version.I couldnt believe to quality of photos and videos.If you do not want to pay so much,that camera is ideal for you.Accesories are cheap too and you can find them easily on Gearbest.The size is perfect.Also my mom and dad liked that camera too.Im gonna order one more Xiaomi Yi again.Thank you Gearbest,you are really the best!!!

- the manual for this is all in Chinese, but that isn't a problem because you can watch the Youtube videos showing you exactly how to scan the barcode on the manual that will give you the app that is needed to operate the camera via the bluetooth connection on your phone. All pretty straightforward. You then have access to all the adjustments that the camera has to offer. Recording in the house provided some great quality images, but I cannot say yet how it is going to perform when used for sporting activities outside. My previous camcorder from another manufacturer struggled with lighting conditions and the image would always go dark. Video goggles do not seem to have that problem as they are sheltered from the sun by the helmet visor. I am hoping this camera copes well with the light when sitting on top of my mx helmet.This camera does have the option to fit lens filters though, which may help with that .

- If you record at the highest qualty and fastest frame rate the camera will not record sound. The tab that covers the usb and hdmi connectors is only push in and could get lost. Not really a problem if you intend to use the waterproof case.

- - produces great video and pics - low light images and video are really good - 120 fps in 720p is great for some fast paced action - can make 2k videos too - has wifi and bluetooth conection - android app is great - firmware updates are frequent, so you can expect some new features in the future - yi can make timelapse video by itself, so you don't need to stitch the images into video with some software later - accessories for yi are really cheap - compatible with most of the gopro accessories, except waterproof case To sum things up.... For the price you will probably not find better action camera anywhere. I'd definitely recommend this to all those who cannot afford Gopro, but still want a great little action camera. Xiaomi has really taken care of their costumers, so they continue to work on their camera firmware and the mobile phone app.

- - there is no official windows phone app. There is an app made by some guy, but it's not free (although only $1.99) - no desktop app - they could have added some basic accessories in the package - no image stabilization (but of course you cannot expect that in this price range)

- The received version is a Z22L, but no real difference was noticed during use between Z22L and Z23L version. Very good picture at 1080p, but not as sharp and accurate than for a GoPro 3+, even after refocus operation. This camera supports 1080p @50fps and @25fps,very interesting for Europe. 50fps delivers a good and fluid picture. Firmware and android application upgrades are available from Xiaomi. Android application is stable and efficient. RF remote is available, and is very a usefull when purchased associated with the original selfies stick. This camera is not the best, but a good purchase for the price, due to Xiaomi software support in the future, and for the huge offer of compatible accessories. (NB: Wifi wiring is now shielded in this version, no noise is noticed any more on recorded sound when wifi is activated)

- As for my previous Z23L, factory initial focus was around 3 meters. To be refocused at infinite using mini HDMI video output on a FHD screen to optimize picture sharpness. (A lot of glue around the lens... not so easy to achieve) Acceptable, but still a little poor internal mic sensitivity. No way to modify settings except between video and photo modes without a smartphone connection. As for a lot of sports camera, buyers should purchase spare batteries and external charger to enjoy it completely.
